    As a Cards fan I want Harper. He checks all the boxes of what they need right now and going forward.

    Even if the Cardinals needed a SS or a 3B, I wouldn't want them to sign Machado.

    Overall, Machado is a "little" better addition than Harper (mainly in fielding). However, either one would be a great addition to a team.

    I'd rather the Yankees not sign either of them but if they had to pick one it would be Harper easily. I want nothing to do with Manny Machado and the money he will be making.

    ,Harper, Yanks need to balance that lineup with lefthanded bat. Sounds as though machado is their man.
