I really enjoyed 17/18 OPCP as I got (and sold) my first 1/1 I ever hit vs. bought. I truly don't think Splendor was very great (especially at the price point).

Last year was a weird one for me in the hobby. I occasionally felt detached from it and wasn’t really getting into the products like I usually do. I attribute this for the first half of the year to the Habs being awful. My interest can wax and wane based on their on-ice performance for sure. I’ve been a fair bit more engaged the past couple months due to the team being so much better this season.

I had a lot of fun with 18-19 Series 1. I’ve hit two Kotkaniemi YG’s which is pretty cool. Also liked Ultimate a bit as it had a lot of really nice new Drouin cards to chase for the growing PC.

I don’t usually do a “worst” as the things that don’t interest me aren’t necessarily bad, they just don’t capture my attention.
Habs fan and collector! Main PC's: Carey Price, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, and of course...

I loved the Canadian Tire set and the hunt for a Kotkaniemi YG in UD1. It was nice to see new Odjick cards in ITGU too. My favorite was Presidents Choice Bleu Blanc Rouge.

Worst product? Maybe Synergy? But many products weren't worth much of my attention during the year too.

Synergy and ice sucked. BBR and leaf ultimate were great.

Favorite for the 4th year in a row Tim Hortons anything I can do affordably with my kids wins for me.....worst compendium no value in it, UD started it as a free pack a day product and it was awesome but then they must have realized that there is no money in free so they scrapped that idea and now it sucks

My favoriteswere Leaf Ultimate and BBR also. I didn’t buy much UD so I can’t say what product sucked. I did buy 3 boxes of Splendor, 2 were really bad and 1 was really good. I buy a lot of Leaf stuff, I love vintage but Leaf Hockey wasn’t the best, one of the worst product so far by Leaf in my opinion.
I collect game used and autographed cards of Beliveau, Lafleur and Maurice Richard. Can consider other nice Habs cards too.

Favorite: In The Game Used (obviously)

Least: I'm not sure? I didn't open much besides ITGU this year, box here and a box there. Splendor was extremely hit or miss. Leaf Hockey didn't have great designs .

OPCP and UD S1/S2 are the best for me. Cup is just behind that.

I'm a pretty low-level collector as I just refuse to spend the type of money required for most products but I'll answer in the way that I can:

BEST - Series 1 - I wish they would give up on the portraits insert set as almost nobody collects it and it is WAY too big but I love the card quality and design and I also think both the Jagr Years and 25 under 25 insert sets are/look great this year - nice updates!! Rookie Commence and Stonewalled are obviously much crappier but they're smaller, accessible and still neat to just put together for the fun of it. Also props for making the shooting (shining) stars more rare as that was another insert that was generally poorly received so making it rarer is a good tweak.

WORST - this is just personal agenda type answer so not valid at all but SPLENDOR. I just hate the trend of hit-only products as I find them very destructive to the overall health of the hobby (that discussion has been done again and again and will many more times) and splendor is just the ultimate version of it.
