    Post Yankees sign Troy Tulowitzki

    https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/...e-to-deal.html

The Yankees have agreed to a deal with free-agent shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, pending a physical, Jeff Passan of ESPN reports. It’s expected to be worth the league minimum of $555K, Passan adds.

The 34-year-old Tulowitzki will remain at shortstop with his new team, suggests Passan, who adds that the Yankees still haven’t ruled out signing free agent Manny Machado. Rather, they simply couldn’t pass up Tulowitzki on such an inexpensive salary. The Yankees were in position to land the five-time All-Star for a minimal fee because the AL East rival Blue Jays released him last month and ate the remaining two years and $38MM on his contract in the process.

Wonder how much he'll pay,... if at all.

    Hope they resign Britton

If the Yankees could get 100 games out of him I think it would be great but I'd be more than happy if the signing just stopped the team from going after Machado since I see that as an awful signing waiting to happen. Just too much money for him.

Yanks sign another infielder. I don't think machado is in the cards.

I hope the Yankees stop with the Machado circus! If Troy is healthy and can play till Gregarious gets back will be great and they also added another utility player from the NL so I think are okay! Andujar will improve his fielding and his bat is amazing!

Seems like there is always talk that their bullpen is going to be great for the past how many years and it always seem to underwhelm. Plus I don't trust Boone handling a bullpen quite yet.

I think BP's are toughest part of managing in baseball.

Sox say they won't pay for closer. Their BP in post season outstanding, but nothing to write home about
during reguar season, especially middle relief. Of course they had pretty good leads in a lot of those games
