My big takeaway is that Lamar Jackson got exposed a little bit. Clearly his style of play wasn't going to last, he is going to have to learn to read through progressions and use his legs second, similar to how Cam Newton has learned to do.

Lamar got exposed A LOT ... right now he's not a real QB; he's a gimmick ... a running back that happens to throw. He's extremely young however and the Ravens franchise seems to fully back him, so if he puts the work in, he could develop into quite a QB ... we'll see what happens.

Divisional Round this weekend...arguably the most entertaining weekend in sports. My picks:

    **UPSET** Indianapolis over KC 27-23
    Rams over Cowboys 33-20
    Patriots over Chargers 24-20
    Saints over Eagles 34-17

I'll play! With the Bears out of the playoffs, I'm no longer emotionally compromised when making picks :)

    Chiefs over Colts 38-31
    Rams over Cowboys 24-13
    Chargers over Patriots 27-24
**UPSET** Eagles over Saints 24-22 (Saints lose on a failed 2-pt conversion)

Cooper Kupp ... he seemed to be Goff's favorite receiver and was a big "loss" ... however the Rams are still loaded and Kupp was never their "best receiver" so they should be okay ... we'll see.

I know he was never close to being their best WR but the offense has basically fallen off since he got hurt. They were basically untouchable before and now they just look "average" for that Rams team.

I was 3-1 on my picks last week ... missed on the Bears pick.

    This week, I'll say:

    Rams over Cowboys by 4
    Saints over Eagles by 10
    Colts over Chiefs by 1
    Chargers over Pats by 3

I'm still waiting to see an outstanding QB performance in these playoffs and haven't seen one yet ... 6 games played featuring 12 QBs and not a single 300 yard game ... it's been all about run games and defense so far ... maybe Drew Brees will put on a show tomorrow at home in a dome?

I'm only 5-3 picking the playoff games but I'll say it will be a Patriots v Saints Super Bowl ... ALL 4 possible matchups could be great though!

Pats v Saints: Brees would be considered the GOAT by some if he went 2-0 in the SB with wins against Manning and Brady & ends up with the yardage and TD records when he retires

Pats v Rams: Bellichick v McVay makes for an awesome coaching battle, old school GOAT vs. new school star

Chiefs v Saints: Top 2 MVP candidates squaring off ... and if Mahomes win his first ring by beating Brady in the AFC Title Game and the Brees in the SB, that would be amazing

Chiefs v Rams: Rematch of the greatest regular season ever ...

Most people want to see the Pats fade into the sunset and let Mahomes and the Chiefs win! The Saints and Rams will be a great game and if Brees can win, will be a great Super Bowl game between the Chiefs and the Saints. I don't really care if the Saints or the Chiefs win just to not have the Pats there would be a blessing!

I'm predicting Patriots over Chiefs 28-24, and Saints over Rams 37-30.

    I'm going with:

    Chiefs over Patriots - 34 - 31
    Saints over the Rams - 35 - 16
