Nick foles - where does he end up?
Eagles: The Eagles can exercise the one year $20m+ option they have on him and just bring him back ... might be the wise thing to do as Wentz seems injury-prone and BACK INJURIES are nothing to sneeze at (just ask Tony Romo)
Chance he stays in Philly: 20%
Jaguars: It's been reported the staff is completely done with Bortles and will pay him to go away and play somewhere else ... signing Foles would be a quick fix and make a lot of sense, but will they decide to draft a QB and throw him to the wolves instead?
Chance he signs with or is traded to the Jaguars: 40%
Broncos: Would John Elway rather sign Nick Foles to a big contract, or simply draft a cheap rookie to learn from current starter Case Keenum, and roll that youngster out as the QB1 in 2020?
Chance he signs with or is traded to the Broncos: 25%
Titans: The GM that drafted Mariota was fired, the first two head coaches Mariota had were fired (the 2nd was fired even after leading the Titans to the playoffs, simply because Mariota regressed so badly) and all three Offensive Coordinators that worked with Mariota were fired or not renewed ... the current GM and Head Coach have no real ties to Mariota as he was never "their guy" and they may decide it would be better to cut him and sign Foles to a multi-year deal worth around $18-22m per year, than it is to merely bring Mariota back on a one-year deal at close to $21m, especially as the Titans have one of the best defenses, run games and O-Lines in the league and are built to "win now" if they have a solid QB.
Chance he signs with or is traded to the Titans: 14%
Redskins: This is a fit that makes sense ... if one doesn't understand the salary cap. Alex Smith may never play again, so Foles would normally make sense, but Alex is also still taking up a massive amount of salary cap space, so a cheap rookie makes a lot more sense than signing Foles does.
Chance Foles signs with or is traded to the Redskins: 1%

I say Eagles keep him and move Wentz. Wentz is broken.

Are you being serious, or trolling Wentz fans? I think there is a .0000000000000001% chance the Eagles trade Wentz and roll with Foles ... the coach has made it very clear Wentz is "the guy" going forward and he's obviously much, much more talented than Foles, as well as 4 years younger.

Not trolling anyone. Just my opinion. You said it yourself that back injuries are nothing to sneeze at.

I do not think Wentz is more more more talented than Foles. If you look at the stats they are not that far apart. So is he more talented I will give you that but triple more come on.

Carson if he would of stayed healthy would of more than likely been offered a very rich deal to be the Eagles QB. He is under contract from his rookie deal for 1 more year with a 5th year option. This gives the Eagles 2 years possibly to figure out what they want to do with him and see if he stays healthy. Being an Eagles fan, the offense looked like it was flowing better with Foles when he was playing. If I was the Eagles Brass, I would think long and hard about Foles and the $20 million he would be destined to make. If you sign him, someone might be willing to unload a pile of draft picks for him. This way, you at least get something in return, instead of letting him walk. Or, you keep him, let him do his thing and have a QB challenge in camp.
Foles to the Jags for a 1st, 3rd and 5th.

I have a feeling the Jaguars go all in and either pick up Foles or get Flacco. I was thinking Flacco but the whole Ravens playoff implosion may keep him in Baltimore for another season. The Jaguars NEED a starting QB and Foles just seems like a guy they would go all in for.

I hear you and I didn't mean to imply you were trolling ... I was just curious if you were, but I do understand your point of view if it's all about the back issue.
"way, way, way" doesn't mean 300% ... I don't even think Aaron Rodgers is 300% more talented than Nathan Peterman ... however, I don't think "stats" have anything to do with "talent" ... Josh Allen is BY FAR the most talented QB in the entire NFL and his stats, at least his passing stats, were garbage this past season.
I basically agree with you ... I think the Eagles should opt-in on his option and bring him back to camp ... their team is built to "win-now" so you might as well hold onto the guy, especially as I do NOT think any team would give up anywhere near what you proposed with the Jags deal ... I think a team like the Titans could be willing to give up a #1 but the Jags have the 7th pick in the draft and that's worth a lot more than Foles is on the open market, so I can't imagine they'd trade THAT pick, plus more picks ...
The Jags and Broncos seem like the two most obvious fits for Foles & Flacco ... however one or both of them could decide to just draft a rookie QB as well ... plus Bridgewater is an unrestricted FA and won't need to be traded for ... an interesting off-season is coming it seems.

Keep in mind that Foles can opt out for $2 million and be an UFA. So that $20 option isn't for sure.

That was a shooting for the stars kind of deal. I can see a team giving up a 1st, but it all depends on how many teams want him. Some team might sweeten the spot to gain a clear advantage. This all can only happen if Foles doesn't opt up and pay the 2 million back to the Eagles.
