I thought this was a great article on how differences in perspective, personality, etc. can lead to major conflicts. The more I learn about Towns, the more he reminds me of David Robinson. He's not an in-your-face, emotionally explosive here-and-now kind of guy like a Butler, or an introverted realist like Rose. He's more friendly, idealistic, and didn't realize that not everyone's going to be nice and "positive," like he puts it. To his credit, it looks like he hasn't taken the events too personally, or ruminated on them too much. Most people would probably rather have him as a teammate than Butler. What Butler doesn't realize is that, as much as Towns could be more competitive, he himself needs to tone down his often out-of-control reactions. Actually much moreso. His comment about bullying Calipari was just ridiculous. Butler really seems like the kind of guy who loves to dish it, but can't take any criticism in return.
