    Removing Ink from ROMLB Help

I used a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to try to get some random pen smear off the sidepanel off my ROMLB.

It did take some of the ink off but it got a little wet so I stopped as it made the ball have a small grey spot which has since dried up and is not visible.

Is this normal to happen? How do I continue I would appreciate some tips if anyone has any.

I've done this once or twice. The area will become a little rough, and new autos over the spot will not last very long. If its just removing an inscription or something like that, it's not an issue, but it does seem to mess up the leather for latter graphs.
