NBA ratings continue to drop

NBA TV Ratings:

- Viewership down 22% on TNT and 5% on ESPN


Local Networks:

- MSG Network down 41%
- Chicago down 36%
- Boston down 27%
- Cleveland down 56%
- Lakers up 42%

Looks like the ratings slide can be attributed to the New York, Chicago, and to a lesser extent Boston market down big rather than fans not being able to see Lebron on the west coast. Pretty much books a Zion to the Knicks or Bulls to magically save the sinking ratings. Wonder how the ratings will look with Lebron James out of the playoffs now?

What ever happens in LA will be short lived. How many years will James have left? Most of the power teams are on west coast except for Milwaukee at this time. With the warriors having a dream team who really wants to watch b-ball when you already know the outcome.
