Most certainly. If Montreal had signed him they would have been in the playoffs instead of the Leafs.
The want list at this link features what I need of Gretzky, Roy, Ottawa Senators, and Miscellaneous sets. I also have a CFL want list on my page and if you have nothing from it I will consider other traders of current Ottawa Senators,Guy Lafleur, + trade bait.

You mean with the Leafs. Even if Montreal caught the Leafs that would have bumped them down to the 1st wildcard spot as they finished with more points than both Carolina and Columbus.
That would have knocked Columbus out of the playoffs.. Who would sweep Tampa then?
Looking for D. Keon, T. Horton, P Henderson Leaf rookies

I think Montreal could have won a couple of the head to head games that were close, including the opening game so Carolina and Columbus would have been in. Any team that gives up 40+ shots each and every game typically doesn't make it.

Montreal would not have won a game or two against Columbus or Carolina? They can only beat the Leafs?

Not sure how they faired against either but if they are improved they could beat other teams than the Leafs

Where did I say that they would have beat Carolina or Columbus. I said that with Radulov as part of their lineup they could have claimed the third seed instead.

i don't think that he alone makes the habs better than leafs.

He's playing with benn and seguin, Montreal has no one or two, that compares with them.

All that was required was to flip one head to head like the very first game and the Habs win one other game or just send one more into overtime and voila. So I disagree.
