What happens when you forget to/don’t have time to scan and show off mail for over 2 months? You have a drawer that’s overflowing. Also, you get a lot of stuff to look at in one post. Enjoy!

- Don Beaupre is one of my all-time favorite goalies, for his time with the Caps. He wasn’t spectacular, but he was always solid. Plus, he could do this neat thing where he’d crouch on the tips of his skates in the crease and chill. Plus his Capitol building helmet was a thing of beauty.

- So, that battle lines card is just off to me. I’m not sure why they used a picture that’s 4 years old to put on it. They could’ve used images from the awesome Stadium Series game held at Annapolis Naval Academy, which at least would’ve made it season-relevant, and they had pics of it in the Stadium Series memorabilia set. Odd, if nothing else.

- One more addition to the horde of In The Game Used is this upgraded copy of the Lalime. Only 3-color I’ve seen. The seller had been posting it for months with an opening bid of $19.99 with no bites. He finally lowered the opening bid to what I offered him months ago, and pounced on it with haste.

- I now have 3 of the 4 Prime Colors of Lecavalier’s rookie jersey sleeve 8. If anyone has a lead on the remaining one, I’d love to know.

Lastly, I don’t like leaving things on a down note, but here it is. If any of you are friends of mine on social media, you already know this. Almost 2 weeks ago, I lost the only job I’ve had since I graduated college. No warning, nothing. 14 years, and out. My unexpected and long journey of finding a new job has started.

That being said, all card purchases have immediately come to a screeching halt. I’ve even stopped trades, as I can’t afford to spend money to ship cards. As of right now, everything on my trade page (and possibly even stuff that isn’t) is all for sale. Thanks for the support you all have shown me throughout the years, and hopefully I can find a new, even better paying job to help feed my addiction…errr…hobby!

I love the Mike Richards cards. I was in the hobby when they were released and can appreciate how they were big cards :)

Sad news for your loss, but maybe it's for the better and you'll find a better job :)
