    What to buy....

I recently got back into the card hobby. I was only doing autos in person. Now my son (11 year old) wants to open some hockey cards. He likes to watch Red Wings and Conner McDavid. Is there any particular brand or packs people would recommend. Good pull ratio for nice cards but not ridiculous where you buy the $100 box and get one pack with 4 cards in it.

We are going to National at end of the month and planned to go shopping there. Budget for him is $100-200. My budget is a lot more fluid so buying cheaper cases is an option if needed.

I wouldn’t mind trading but I did football and baseball for most part and stopped in 2005. Most of my stuff isn’t worth what it use to be and I never had a huge graded collection.

Once we go to national and I see if I can get my son hooked on hockey or other sports cards I may get more relevant trade bait. Right now he likes meeting the super start J Brown, B Sanders, P Rose and his Pokémon cards.

That’s why I was looking for boxes to open but group breaks aren’t a bad option either. Saw blowout and steep city do a lot of group breaks too.

If your going to the Nationals check out the Free groupbreaks. If you have a kid there gb’s targeted for kids and best thing is they are free. Have a blast at the Nationals as it a lot of fun. You will be able to,find all kind of deals just need to decide which way you want to spend your money.

    Any other questions just ask.
