The "Bachman" Jersey Overdrive! Stunningly Hammered First Win, First Shutout Jersey!

And here it is, the final newest addition to the collection for now. Don't forget to give us a "LIKE" and follow us on Twitter as we can always use the support as we continue on our quest to 1000 followers on Facebook.

Born on the 25th of July in 1987 at Salt Lake City, Utah, Richard Bachman was a promising goaltender developed in the US junior hockey system. Drafted 120th overall by the Dallas Stars in 2006, Bachman finally turned pro in 2009-10, after completing two seasons with Colorado College. Splitting time between the ECHL and AHL that year, he posted strong numbers in both leagues. For 2010-11, he had become the number one goalie with Texas in the AHL, recording excellent numbers. That season, he also made his NHL debut. On December 11, 2010, Bachman relieved Andrew Raycroft between the pipes against Phoenix. Bachman ended up stopping all four of the shots that he faced in the team's 5-2 defeat. The following season, Bachman split time between the NHL and the AHL. He posted statistics more than competent enough to stay in the NHL in 18 games that year. After one more season splitting time between the AHL and NHL, he was let go at the conclusion of the 2012-13 season, and the Edmonton Oilers ended up signing him. Over two seasons under contract with Edmonton, Bachman appeared in 10 NHL games with them, to go along with 75 AHL appearances. He was then signed as a free agent by Vancouver in 2015. Largely remaining in the AHL with the Canucks, Bachman has gotten at least one NHL game in each season with the Canucks with the exception of 2017-18. In 2018-19, he suffered an Achilles injury that prematurely ended his season in January. He remains under contract with the Canucks through the 2019-20 season.

As he is still an active goaltender, no career numbers will be displayed as they may yet change!

What you are looking at right now is a 2011--12 Road Set 1 Jersey worn by Bachman in several key games for his career. Among them are his first NHL start, first NHL win, first NHL shutout and first NHL loss. The jersey is full of puck marks and post paint transfer. A stunning example of how even modern jerseys can have nice wear and tear.
