    Printing Plate care?

Today I pulled a printing plate I was wondering what care should I take with it I touched the corner and it felt almost wet/sticky I don't want to smear the colors so I put it in a screw down holder. Will that work or what?

Sounds like you want to handle it the same way one deals with autographs; i.e. ensure that voltaile surfaces are either touching something safe or not touching anything at all. A screwdown in which the recessed area is thicker than the printing plate sounds like a good choice.
