Ebayer's please check this out!!! Fraudulent emails

I got one of those fraudulent emails just now, asking for my sign in name and password, it is so real looking I would almost beleive it. It comes from an @ebay.com mail address and looks so officail, but I know ebay tells all users when they sign up that they will never email you asking for your password. I hope everyone knows about this scam, I know its been posted alot before. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that a new one is going around.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

Good advice. I get those about every 6 months or so. The best thing to remember is NEVER give out a password for anything no matter how real it looks. Even if it's the real thing there are other ways to verify it.

I've gotten similar fake emails as well. You can foward it to [email protected] and ebay will investigate it or [email protected] for fake emails from paypal.
