Not to be a harda$$ but read below:

To clarify ending times... if you say your auction ends at 11:00 PM, that means when the clock hits 11:00 PM, the auction is closed. Therefore, that means as a seller, you cannot accept bids that are timestamped 11:00. As a bidder, you must have your post timestamped before 11:00 to have your bid count.
I would think that means I win?

The HIGH BIDDER as the clock strikes 11:00 PM EST is the winner. If there are more then 1 bid as the clock strikes 11, the 1st bid wins.
Although I'd like to say the rules say otherwise... he did at least stipulate how the high bidder would be selected so there wouldn't be any agruement. I got to side with johnny on this one.
In the future though johnny, just so everyones on the same page, stick with the auction rules and make it the auction ends at 11PM (which means any bids made at 11PM are made after the auction has already closed).
Anyways johnny... should have just sold to me. You would have got a lot more CC :D

Oh well. I thought we had to follow the forum rules. I changed my auctions to accomodate those rules. Not going to make a big deal about it though as I made my point. Congrats on a great card Rick!

Thanks Bob, I hopethere's no hard feelings. I knew from winning other auctions of John's that the first person to get a bid in at 11:00 eastern was the way he did it. I didn't know there was a set way to end an auction. I thought as long as the seller explained exactly when it ended it was ok.
