Neil Simon, playwright of such comedies as The Odd Couple and The Sunshine Boys, died Sunday at the age of 91.
The iconic scribe boasted more combined Oscar (four) and Tony (17, winning three times) nominations than any other writer.Working on autographed 1987 Topps Baseball set:

Former Chicago forward and Stanley Cup champion Ab McDonald has passed away at the age of 82.
McDonald played nearly 800 games in the NHL for Chicago, Montreal, Boston, Detroit, Pittsburgh, and St. Louis. He also suited up in 147 WHA games as captain for the Winnipeg Jets, scoring their first goal in club history.

George Taliaferro, the star running back for Indiana who in 1949 became the first black player drafted by an NFL team, has died at 91.

Tex Winter, innovator of the triangle offense in basketball, and assistant coach to Phil Jackson during his stints at Chicago and Los Angeles, died on October 10, 2018. He is a member of both the Naismith and College Basketball Halls of Fame. He was 96 years old.

Former Jacksonville Jaguars offensive guard Vince Manuwai died Sunday at the age of 38.
Jacksonville drafted Manuwai in 2003, after he played collegiately at Hawaii, and he played there eight seasons before lacing it up for the Atlanta Falcons practice squad in 2012.
