I can't believe it. I hated the guy to begin with. He just resigned from the WNBA team the Shock 3 games into the season. The reason? To pursue his own dream of becoming an NBA head coach. I don't mind him resigning but 3 games into the season? What a jerk

    your thoughts?

He's wants to come in the NBA to get a title. I don't see why not. Not that many people care about the WNBA.

A great coach he was, but not sad to see him go, besides the Shock win all the time and they cant even give away tickets for the games..

Yeah i dont blame him at all. I think he could be a great NBA coach. He has both the coaching experience and the NBA experience as a player. Good luck to wherever he goes! thanx

He wants to make sure he's available early. And this could be the WNBA's final season before it folds.

I loved him as part of the Bad Boys, but to do something like that is pretty
absurd. He could of at least waited until the end of the season to pull something like that, especially after coaching the Shocks to another WNBA championship title last year. Pretty selfish move in my book.

While I don't follow the WNBA much, I am one of the few who doesn't openly dislike it, lol..I know he did really well there, and they were one of the more fun WNBA teams to watch. He'll find another gig with those credentials.

On the other side, at least he didn't wait until halfway through the season. That would put him at the August time frame - hunting seasong for NBA front offices.

I think he's known this for a while but he wanted to wait until after the NBA season so he would be a hot commondity to NBA teams. Not old news. He should have done this 2 months ago.

I don't think the WNBA will fold. It's not like its an 82 game season...It's only about 30 games and do you know how many people would be mad about it closing and the NBA not closing. David Stern would be the new poster boy for "sexist pig".

Of course it's not true but they are going to be all over him like Jelly on a roll.
