Hot Rod speaks
WWE Hall of Fame legend Rowdy Roddy Piper has been talking up his chances in the ring this past week after three years in wrestling retirement.
Age hasn't stopped Roddy Piper's desire to wrestle in the WWE again before he truly retires for good, and he says there are still two opponents that he would come out of retirement to compete against.
Epic match
One of them is Vince Russo, but the other is a little more epic and would make for an excellent match. The other contest, which he reveals he would do for free, would be against WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
In fact, Roddy Piper says he would compete against either McMahon or Russo for free, such is his desire and desperation to get one of those matches scheduled at some point in WWE's future.
Long-running feud
Piper had wanted to feature at WrestleMania 30 so he could finally end his long-running feud with Hulk Hogan. But WWE decided against that proposal, with Vince McMahon and the writers creating huge moments for The Rock, Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin instead.
Piper did manage to end his feud with Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 30 in the end, but the whole incident was just a backstage skit. Not quite the substance that Piper wanted.
The 60-year-old has also had a spat or two with Vince Russo over the course of his career, with Piper accusing Russo of killing Owen Hart and destroying WCW. So a match between Russo and Piper would also be a classic.
Piper is not the first person to say Russo killed Owen Hart and he's not the last, with Owen Hart's brother providing a similar shocking assessment in the last week.

Why even have the match with AJ and Rosa if she was going to lose in 10 seconds.

I wonder if the WWE is hurting more than they are letting on. They are cutting stuff left and right now and are doing anything they can do to save a buck.

Makes sense for him to return at the Royal Rumble. They usually save guys coming back from injury for the rumble lately.

He is an update regarding the AJ Lee and Paige storyline.
Friday night on SmackDown, moments after her victory over Rosa Mendes, WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee was pushed off the SmackDown stage by fellow Diva Paige. AJ suffered injuries as a result of Paige’s actions.
“AJ was initially not responding when we got to her,” stated WWE physician, Dr. Chris Amann. “As a precautionary measure, we put her in a neck brace, put her on a backboard and escorted her to a local medical facility for follow-up testing. There, she was diagnosed with a whiplash injury.”
To find out more on AJ’s condition, check back with WWE.com and tune into Raw, this Monday at 8/7 CT on USA Network.
