Kinda sounds like Phineas got that Mideon gimmick since Severn didn't want to touch it. That'd be insanely awesome to see a guy "take over" a Royal Rumble. I really want to know what is Vince's backup plan if something like that were to ever happen? Does he have a "hit crew"of guys he sends in one by one to team up and throw out the guy whose gone rogue? LoL

Maybe that's why they always have Big Show and Kane around. Somebody isn't going to really be able to get one of them out of the ring if they don't want to go.
Though kinda on the same thought do they have a backup Royal Rumble winner? I mean what happens if somebody comes in with the #1 entrant spot and they have hang around for a bit and are suppose to win. They go to the top rope jump off and land awkwardly and their leg splits in half like it did to Sid in WCW. I don't even know how they would be able to continue on for another 30+ minutes with a guy who is suppose to win the thing in excruciating pain on the floor with his leg broken in half flopping around like a limp noodle. The match where that occurred Scott Steiner or somebody quickly covered him for the pin and then the paramedics came out to treat him but you can't really do that in a RR. Same thing would be if somebody was suppose to win it and they grabbed onto the ropes and they were sweaty and then just went over the top instead of pulling themselves back in. They can't really just act like that didn't happen.Selling all my cards here updated as of May------------> Hidden Content

Why on earth would they need a contract signing for the United States Championship. They should stop giving us filler garbage and instead give us more wrestling.

As reported recently, Samoa Joe is expected to sign with WWE after his current run in Ring Of Honor. As things stand now, the plan is for Joe’s ROH run to wrap up after his match at the promotion’s event during WrestleMania 31 weekend in Redwood City, California.
This explains why Joe has not been advertised for ROH’s upcoming events in San Antonio or Minnesota.
Joe is also expected to finish his currently advertised independent bookings in April before joining WWE, likely as part of NXT.
ALso read
Samoa Joe recently appeared on Chris Jericho's Talk is Jericho podcast, and among the many topics he discussed were some possible negotiations with WWE. Obviously, this set the rumor mill in motion.
Joe has been a fixture of TNA almost since its inception, and he has produced countless incredible matches with many notable names. His feuds with former WWE star Kurt Angle and the currently-in-limbo Christian were some of his best, and his bouts with AJ Styles will always be looked upon as classics.
Joe is no spring chicken in the wrestling world. He started in the business 15 years ago, wrestling for promotions like Ring of Honor and Pro Wrestling Noah in addition to being a top name in TNA for the majority of his run.
Now that he is gone from TNA and possibly making his way to WWE to fulfill every wrestler's dream of working for the biggest company in the biz, it's natural to start thinking about which Superstars would be logical opponents for the Samoan Submission Machine.
This slideshow will look at some of the best options on the current roster and why they would make ideal opponents for Samoa Joe.

Very tragic death to a young luchador star in Mexico last night. Perro Aguayo, Jr. aka El Hijo del Perro Aguayo wrestled in a tag team match last night partnered with Manik aka Suicide in TNA versus Rey Mysterio, Jr. and Extreme Tiger aka Tigre Uno in TNA. The hospital says he died from cervical spine trauma allegedly caused from a dropkick by Mysterio which allegedly caused Aguayo to land on the ring ropes causing him to snap his neck. El Hijo del Perro Aguayo was the son of lucha libre legend, El Perro Aguayo who some might remember was in the 1997 WWF Royal Rumble with other lucha libre legends such as Mil Mascaras and El Canek.
After watching the 2 videos in the link, it's hard for me to believe that Rey's dropkick really is the cause. This "freak injury" could've been sustained prior to the dropkick in 2 scenarios. The first scenario could've been when Perro rolled over Tigre Uno to get to Rey in the corner, Perro doesn't get back to a vertical base easily, he stumbles. Maybe Perro injured his neck in the roll? Or possibly when he tried to stand up? Next, now Rey comes over to do a Hurrancarana by jumping onto Perro's upper body. This is where my Scenario #2 comes in where Perro may have been seriously hurt but unknown to him. There's a part I find weird where I think Rey applies pressure while on Perro's shoulders to flip him but Perro doesn't do the move and by not doing the move all this pressure is on Perro's neck since Rey has his legs around his neck and is forcefully trying to pull him down to sell the Hurrancarana. Perro doesn't take the Hurrancarana fluidly if you look closely at the videos provided, especially in video #1. It seems both Rey & Perro weren't together on the timing for the Hurrancarana and it looks to me like Rey pulls "violently" on Perro's neck to perform the move and either Perro wasn't ready yet and/or was off balance. Moving on now, Perro sells it and goes flying outside the ring and in these few seconds I bet he feels pain and/or numbness in his neck/upper body because as fast he gets back up on the ring apron he rolls into the ring slowly and slowly gets up to a vertical base - even using a ring rope to help him get back to his feet. Also, it's kind of odd he flies outside the ring because it looks as if he should be in the ropes being setup for Mysterio's "619" finishing move. Now Rey dropkicks Perro on like the left side of his body, kind of on his left back. This dropkick to the left side of Perro's body doesn't help matters ANY and is what I think is the "final blow" to make Perro lose total and complete consciousness
It's very sad and tragic this whole ordeal, yet I'm really bewildered as to how this happened. It doesn't look like Perro landed into the ropes hard enough via Rey's dropkick for him to "crush his neck". Ring ropes are very hard and basically are cables, I know this but still.
I really feel bad for all parties involved. This is something the surviving wrestlers will never forget. I just hope Rey isn't blaming himself, I really don't think it's his fault but as you can see in the videos he's very distraught as he is on one knee on the other end of the ring with Tigre Uno with their hands together praying for their fallen wrestling hermano who was just taken away by medical personnel.
I'm pissed at the referee for not coming over to check on Perro's well being. Rey comes over to check on Perro. As well as Manik and Konnan. What Konnan did by moving him rubbing his back and all that was so bad too. But I just think nobody realized how crucial the situation was. Those precious minutes flew by and it took a while before Aguayo was taken away. Such a shame.

The following are highlights of a new Dolph Ziggler interview.
On WrestleMania 31 and his WWE Intercontinental Title ladder match against six other superstars: “I’m a bitter, chip-on-my shoulder guy who doesn’t care about anybody else, but there’s a little bit of that tiny wrestling fan inside me that gets excited to see Sting for the first time ever at a WrestleMania. Or to see if Undertaker’s going to have his entrance or to see if I can go out there and, not just outdo myself and have fun, but it’s like wow, millions of people watching, 80-something-thousand people are in attendance at this event. This is a huge monumental deal. And no matter how jaded or bitter you are, it’s a very special thing, no matter who you are or what match you’re in to, take a look out there for five seconds and look around and go wow, I’m a part of history.”
On the backlash WrestleMania main eventer Roman Reigns has received from fans: “All of those Shield guys, who came in protected, have done nothing but deliver, in my opinion, and I am a harsh critic of everyone. I wish I could be in the main event. I feel that I am better than Roman Reigns, but you know what? He hasn’t wrestled as long as I have. And if he does anything that comes up short of delivering, I’ll be all over his case and I’ll be the first one to go on Twitter and go, ‘Yup, told you it should’ve been me.'”
On his performance at the Royal Rumble: “I was pissed. I was out there for a minute at the most and I was so disgusted with myself and so disappointed with the position I was in.”
On how he deals with frustrations with his role in the company: “You don’t just go to your bosses and say, ‘This sucks, I’m supposed to be winning everything.’ If you have an awesome idea or a story, or something great, you go, ‘Hey, how about we do this,’ but when the story is not you, you have to find a way to make it work.”
On attending the taping of the Justin Bieber roast: “Martha Stewart kicked ™™™. She was great.”
On balancing wrestling with his stand-up comedy career: “I make sure to write every day, even if it’s a little bit.”
On adult website Brazzers recently making him an offer to sponsor his wrestling trunks: “Twitter ranted about what I should do next. Brazzers offered me $10,000 and I could pick my partner if I would join them. So Brazzers has always been there for me.”
