Elimination game tonight in Tampa. I said it yesterday — I hate the Lightning but I am happy to see Perry playing so well. Still, disappointed that the Panthers haven’t put up much of a fight in this series.

Big one in the Avs-Blues series as well. Some bad blood brewing there after the Binnington incident. It’s a huge loss for them. Husso has played well but losing your #1 goalie changes how your team plays the game. They’ll have to adjust quickly or else it could be lights out soon.

I’m kind of mixed on Tampa’s success. I hope Perry does well, he was magnificent in Montreal last year however I’m still sore about Kucherov’s comments towards the Habs faithful. I did pick Tampa to make it to the finals so I cannot act like I’m surprised at how well they are doing.

I’m definitely shocked however at how poorly Florida has played in this series. It’s like they have no fight left in them.

Binnington’s injury has certainly added more fuel to an already heated rivalry. It’ll be interesting to see if Husso is up for the challenge.

If Husso plays like he did for most of the regular season, St. Louis should be fine.

I'm still not sure how Florida failed to show up in this series. Granted, the Lightning are an amazing team but I would have thought that they could have mustered a win or two at least. Regardless, whoever limps out of the NYR/CAR series will face a well-rested Tampa team that is firing on all cylinders.
