    Why I hate PWE's

Recieved a card today, it was almost completely out of the toploader and it had a nice crease in the middle of the card running side to side and from front to back. Now I have to waste money mailing it back to the member on top of having the trade cancelled. It doesnt cost much to put something in a padded envelope people and I dont care if the other person doesnt D.C. their end (I always do for my own well beeing). Normally I woulnt care about spending $2 to mail something out but when it involves me getting nothing on my end it just irks me to no end....... UGH.....

I send in PWEs sometimes, but it's always smart to tape the toploader shut, as well as taping the top loader to the envelope, or a piece of paper. Sorry to hear that happened to you though.

    That sucks... PWE 101

Put in top loader, tape up the top of the toploader. Wrap a piece of paper over the top loader... Put into team bag

Then put 62 cents on the PWE & write DO NOT BEND

GU should never go in a PWE...inserts/RCs/base are the only cards that should be sent in a PWE, IMHO...

I've never had a problem w/PWEs when the person packages them correctly...but I just got one this week sent in a PWE in a penny sleeve, no top loader. Are you kidding me? How much thought does it take to figure that out. And I have had a few damaged from a top loader not being taped as well.

I use pwe for lower end cards, excluding gu and autos. For cheap cards, it's sometime not worth using bubble mail. But cards should also be treated properly in pwe, like taping it in the toploader and taping the toploader into the envelop so it doesn't move around.

I never ship in a PWE no matter how cheap the card is. Not worth the risk. Just buy bubble mailers in bulk, they aren't that expensive. I have over 100 brand new ones ready to be sent out!
Hidden Content - use the drop down box at the top left to view all my other albums
Brian Orakpo/Sean Taylor/Craig Kimbrel Super Collector - I collect Lucky 13 Football RCs (04-07 all versions). Also like current Braves (Acuna/Albies/Dansby/Soroka/Strider/Riley/Harris/Fried, etc.), Mike Trout, Juan Soto, Roger Federer.
