Been watching that for awhile. The first Toews one I've ever seen and because (I'm assuming) its a huge lot its getting bid up so high I can't afford it!

I'd be surprised to see it go too much higher, really. Without Sid, Malkin or any of the retired greats (Yzerman, Gretzky, Howe) in the lot, it doesn't seem worth chasing too much.
Most of those cards will end up selling for only a few dollars down the road, with the exception of a guy like Toews. If I happen to come across a Toews, I'll let you know.

Doesn't that Toews sell for like $150 by itself?

That seller is nuts, he wants $18 for shipping! For that price he better be shipping it overnight lol

I saw the patch at a BIN of $150, but no other sales. I'm going to try and get the name of the eventual winner of the lot and see if he'll let me buy the Toews off him.

I remember when S1 came out the few Toews jerseys that surfaced went for $100+ each. I think the first one went for $140ish...

And with Toews having one of the greatest seasons of history...it might go for more now...=S
(He's gonna be bigger than Gretz Howe and Lemieux altogether)

Please don't say things like that, with my luck it would happen.

Yeah it's a SP in a very collected set. You'll be hard pressed to ever find one under $100 unless someone at a show has it for a lower price or it comes on as a BIN b/c someone doesn't know it's a SP. The only reason that lot sold for $100 is b/c the Toews was in it and it wasn't listed well.
