I traveled with my family to visit my in-laws in Scottsdale, AZ for the Thanksgiving holiday, and as I did the last two years, I went to the Arizona Cardinals weekly radio show, the Big Red Rage, held in Chandler, AZ. There, I got three autos on cards from one of the hosts, former Cardinal Ron Wolfley prior to the show (2 for @loringslegends), and after the show, got one autograph on a business card from special teams ace Justin Bethel, and three autos on cards from defensive star Calais Campbell. Campbell is on the show every week, and the other player is announced the day of or the day before. I need something better for the 2nd player, since I usually don't know who they will be until I am already in AZ that day (we fly out that morning).

Yesterday, I went one town over for an appearance at a liquor store by former Chicago Bears defensive end Alex Brown. Mr. Brown signed two 8x10's for me, for free, and chatted away with me and my older daughter. He is one of the nicest guys, and he was that way during his playing days as well.

Last night, I ventured out in the snow for another regular season game of the new D-League Team, the Windy City Bulls. Before the game, I was able to get 4 cards signed by current coach and former Indiana Hoosier and Chicago Bull AJ Guyton, and after the game ended, two players sit at a table for autographs, and I got Aaron Thomas on the back of a newspaper that the team was giving out which had his player spotlight on it, and center Coreontae DeBerry on a promo 5x7 card. After the game, I was able to get some autographs from the opposing Greensboro Swarm, and I got 1 card signed by forward/center Christian Wood (who scored 35 points), 1 card signed by Suns draft pick Archie Goodwin, 4 cards signed by former Sonics/Thunder guard Damien Wilkins, and 4 cards signed by former Kentucky guard Aaron Harrison.

Last Tuesday, I went to the taping of a local Chicago Bears show called the Chicago Huddle, at a local restaurant. The show features a member of the Bears in a rotation, and on Tuesday, the guest was linebacker Sam Acho. My family and I won a raffle and were VIP's for the show, so we got free food, and 4 signed mini helmets, for free.
