Florida is not considered part of the South, nor is Texas.

I lived in Jacksonville, Boca Raton and Orlando. You can keep the whole damn State. It's a disaster. Other than hunting Red Fish, I have no idea why anyone would want to live there. Overcrowded swamp, full of mosquitos, homeless people, racists, and pedos, along with abundant quantities of litter, litter, litter everywhere, and drive-up white-trash souvenir con-shops, selling dirty kitsch, and fireworks.

I am so thankful to live in Oregon, as opposed to that grubby joint.

glad to see I am not the only one who doesn't see the "magic" of Florida. I also would much rather go north than south when choosing to travel etc. Will definitely retire to the UP of Michigan as all of my peers fly south. Give me cold and unpopulated any day!

I was actually considering moving to Texas or Florida before settling in Georgia. At times I've had more than my share of Georgia if Texas or Florida is worse that Georgia I will stay right where I'm at.
