A month or 2 ago i had some damaged OPC Platinum cards. Replacements came in today.. Wow!!

So, i had some damaged OPC Platinum cards. All were regular rookies except for 1, it was a rainbow. They offered to replace them & i got the package in today & i am definitely impressed with the replacements. every card they sent is a Rainbow rookie. Here is what i got..

#151- A. Matthews Rainbow
#152- M. Tkachuk Rainbow
#155- W. Nylander Rainbow
#156- I. Provorov Rainbow
#166- D. Strome Rainbow
#173- S. Aho Rainbow

That's awesome! I have a few that I just got that should probably go back. Maybe i should try my luck at the damaged Tkachuk Retro to be replaced.

@jameslacarte, that's awesome! I've wondered about this before. What's the process you followed and what was the damage in general? I'm curious if a bad corner on a pull constitutes damage for example.

The cards i had were badly chipped along the top of each card. I emailed them & sent them pics of each card. They messaged me back & said they would replace all the damaged cards. I sent them about 2 months ago tops & i already got them back. I expected them to replace the cards with the same cards so i was a bit shocked when i kept turning over the cards & seen Rainbow on every 1 they sent.

I had sent in a few OPC Platinum cards as well when it came out. A badly scratched regular version Marner, and 2 base cards. Got my package the other day too, they sent me rainbow versions of Matthews, Marner and Dvorak!

Nice!! Always great to get an upgrade!! I didnt even have a Matthews or a Nylander & I got both. I think the only one i had that i got back was the Tkachuk & mine was the regular version. I doubt i will ever buy any Platinum again, every box i have opened has had the same issues with the chipping but this is the first time i have sent cards back to be replaced..

That's awesome man!!!! I had this same issue with some Parkhurst stuff. They sent me a Marner rookie parade proof, Kapanen blue auto rookie parade.
