It doesn't look like anyone picked question 2d, so it's all good. An honest mistake, no worries. I would have been ok with any Cleveland picks, had anyone made one. :)

@ravens_creed
Looks like camsue did pick Padres for 2d. Should I score that as him picking Indians so if they win give him the points? Or just treat that pick as a push?

@key2win
I'd say N/A that answer this time. Even though he did pick SD after it was pointed out in the thread that it should have been Cleveland, I feel like it would be harsh to penalize him for it.

Unfortunately, I don't have much of a witty summary to make this month. What I do have is my sincere thanks to everyone for putting their best foot forward this month while we went through some changes. Thank you for continuing to play. Thank you to those who have volunteered to help out. Obviously with the changes and some inconsistencies this month, there weren't as many opportunities, so the scores look lower than normal. Still, a shout-out to key2win for winning the month. Despite working diligently almost every day to score the contest, he also had time to slay the contest as a participant. Not far behind, bigbenjobu continues to be a force. No doubt there is a monthly crown in his future. Finishing closely behind them in 3rd was lil5up3rman, who came out of the gates on fire, and put together the month's first solid streak as well. The top-10 was rounded out by who765 who's always in the hunt, and bearpup, whose new management team has turned things around since their May 2018 fiasco. Rounding out the top-10 we have... the new schedule makers! Good luck in July everyone!

Questions for Monday, July 2, 2018
- You may make up to 3 predictions total.
- You may make no more than 2 predictions per level.

- All times listed are in Eastern Time (EDT).
- Good Luck!
Level 1: (2 RP / 1 SP)
1a) FIFA World Cup: who will win or draw: Brazil vs. Mexico (10am) (Note: this is probably a level 2 game, but there were no other MLB games that I felt were level 1 worthy, so moving this game to level 1 made the most sense, especially since I didn’t expect too many Mexico guesses)
1b) FIFA World Cup: who will win or draw: Belgium vs. Japan (2pm)
1c) MLB: who will win: Cleveland Indians (Kluber, 11-4, 2.54) at Kansas City Royals (Junis, 5-9, 4.67) (815pm)
Level 2: (5 RP / 2 SP)
2d) MLB: who will win: Boston Red Sox (Porcello, 9-3, 3.60) at Washington Nationals (Scherzer, 10-4, 2.04) (705pm)
2e) MLB: who will win: Minnesota Twins (Gibson, 2-6, 3.48) at Milwaukee Brewers (Suter, 8-5, 4.28) (810pm)
2f) MLB: who will win: San Francisco Giants (Bumgarner, 1-2, 2.51) at Colorado Rockies (Freeland, 7-6, 3.29) (840pm)
Level 3: (10 RP / 3 SP)
3g) MLB: who will win: Detroit Tigers (Fiers, 5-5, 4.04) at Toronto Blue Jays (Borucki, 0-1, 3.00) (107pm) *Early start
3h) MLB: who will win: Chicago White Sox (Shields, 3-9, 4.29) at Cincinnati Reds (Castillo, 5-8, 5.85) (710pm)
3i) MLB: who will win: St.Louis Cardinals (Martinez, 4-4, 3.22) at Arizona Diamondbacks (Ray, 3-0, 4.01) (940pm)
*** The sport of soccer presents an extra challenge for this contest, due to the frequency with which ties (draws) occur. With the World Cup starting with today’s schedule, and becoming a prominent part of the contest for the next several weeks, I wanted to go over some special rules regarding World Cup soccer games (possibly for use with MLS games going forward as well). The following rules will be in effect:
- For each match/game, you may select either team, or you may guess that the match will end in a draw (3 choices total)
- If you select “draw” and either team wins, you LOSE
- However, if you select either team to win, and the match/game results in a draw, that will score as a PUSH and not count towards your score.
