@JFried1029 - Thanks for letting me know of my mistake. Sorry. I don't know why I did that. I just went through your baseball gu and auto lists. You sure have a good amount available. The main ones that interest me are these -----------

    GU's - '20 T GL Mays /25 - '11 T TO Foxx - '10 T S CC Ott /10 - '10 N C R Greenberg /199 - '09 T S Musial /25 - '09 T AH Hornsby - '07 S S C Ott - '04 T T Greenberg - '02 U C Mantle /30

    AUTO's - '07 SP LEG. Hubbell /31, Lemon /23, and Alston /31 - '06 T S Hubbell - '06 P C Gehringer /40

In regard to "vintage" "BIRDS", I still have a small list in the vintage forum of "old" "BIRDS" that I still don't have. The main three "old""BIRDS" I don't have are BROOKS ROBINSON cards - 1957 TOPPS "RC" (out of my range though), 1965 TOPPS, and 1967 Topps

@OriolesFan- Rodney- I will propose a trade. What value are you putting on the Mays?
    Always Looking for:

    A) Graded Vintage (Pre-1980) (BGS, BVG, PSA, SGC) in all sports
    B) Graded True RC's (No inserts or parallels) (BGS, PSA, SGC) in all sports
    C) Certified Auto and GU cards of players from the 70's and further back in all sports

@JFried1029 - James, thanks for your quick reply and interest. I'm not sure of its value. I don't have a current BECKETT. Ten years ago, in a BECKETT, the '73 TOPPS #305 was $40. On EBAY I've seen that card selling, with the 4 vg-ex condition, from $40 to $150. The "average" of the first 10 "4 vg-ex" ones I saw was about $80 . Have a good day, Rodney

@OriolesFan- Rodney- I checked on EBay specifically for SGC4 of the Mays card. Some of the completed transactions showed higher grades. Here is what I see:

    12-15-22 SGC 6 $76.00
    12-11-12 SGC 5.5 $66.45
    11-23-22 SGC 4 $54.95
    11-20-22 SGC 3.5 $30.00
    11-13-22 SGC 6 $64.00

I would trade these two for the Mays:

    '10 N C R Greenberg /199 – BV $30.00
    '09 T AH Hornsby – BV $25.00

@JFried1029 - James, thanks for the reply, info., and offer. I went back to ebay a few minutes ago, and found four "4 vg-ex" ones at $42, $80, $150, and $54 = total $326 = avg. of $81.50 . Sorry, I'll pass on your offer. If you come up with another offer plmk. If you want to buy, I'll sell it for $40 + $5 for shipping with tracking = $45(cash, check, or postal money order) Have a good night, Rodney

@OriolesFan- Rodney- I have two questions for you:

Were they all specifically SGC graded?

    Were they all completed transactions?

@JFried1029 - James, to answer your "?'s": (1)I'm not sure. I didn't write that down --- (2)No, they weren't. I just went back on ebay a few minutes ago. I only found two (02) SGC 4 VG/EX of the '73 Topps #305 Mays. They are currently up for $80 & $150. There were other ones, but not SGC 4 VG/EX. Have a good day, Rodney

@OriolesFan- Rodney- The reasons I asked the questions are:

    1) Which company graded the card makes a huge difference in market value. The fairest indicator for graded cards is cards that are graded by the same company.

    2) Regarding values placed by sellers on unsold cards- anyone can ask for anything on their cards. My Mantle GU books $300.00, but I can ask for a $1,000 for it. It doesn't mean anyone will pay my price. What people value their own cards at is irrelevant unless they can find someone to pay their price.

@OriolesFan- Rodney- I could trade any two of these for the Mays:

    '11 T TO Foxx
    '10 N C R Greenberg /199
    '09 T AH Hornsby
    '07 S S C Ott
    '04 T T Greenberg

@JFried1029 - James, thanks for the quick reply and offer. However, for now, I'll pass. I pass because: (1)I have no idea of the "values" of those five (just two, on post #13) and (2) no info/values on the others I mentioned in post #10 (and you have them in post #11) and (3) it'll take more than the value of the previous offer (post #13). If we work out a trade, whatever I get will go up for sale (and maybe trade), as I'm trying to move as much as possible. At my age it's time to do that. My "selling offer" on post #14 is still available. Thanks for your time and effort concerning this. Have a good day, Rodney
