He gained popularity because of his dad but spits in the face of everything his daddy believes in. That's a sellout to me.

So you think Ron was in favor of Drone strikes? Rand literally stands for almost everything Ron did.

Veggie, normally I think you bring up excellent points, whether I agree with them or not.

This is not one of those times.

How is the filibuster about drone strikes not supporting a Ron Paul type of position? Allowing drone strikes means the government/military serves as judge, jury, and executioner. Libertarians, like the Pauls, are highly opposed to that. We have due process in the Constitution for a reason.

While Rand is not Ron on a number of positions, he's better than most pseudo-libertarians (Glenn Beck), and holds a truly libertarian position on this issue.

    I stand with Rand.

and we know where you are on those party lines...pot calling kettle black...

Where were you to question Bush on this topic? and yes a very valid question.

Bush never killed U.S. Citizens with drone strikes.

Both are pretty staunch defenders of personal liberties including the right to due process. How was this a sellout?

Can't destroy the country from afar, destroy the country from with in. Stick to the constitution. Hope the country regains the moral high ground.

And how many U.S. Citizens have been killed on U.S. Soil?

I notice this question continues to go unanswered. Interesting.

And how many U.S. Citizens have been killed on U.S. Soil?

Irrelevant. After U.S. Citizens were executed via drone strikes overseas, we started hearing about drones being used more and more over U.S. skies by law enforcement. This has naturally led to questions about their proper use. Many wondered if the military would use drones in the U.S. to kill U.S. citizens identified as potential terrorists and when the Obama administration did not definitively respond in the negative, Rand Paul took it upon himself to force the administration into providing a clear answer.
