The mosquito factor was "normal". They were around, but they weren't a big nuisance. The deer flies, however, swarmed us relentlessly every day. They were bruuuuutal!!! I got my fair share of bites, don't you worry! :P

Congrats to @JFried1029 for bettering his previous best month's score of 397 to win the month of July with 415. A superb battle for 2nd took place between @bakemeister52, who didn't think he could get it done; @bigmo1979, whose at-times big gambles didn't always pay off (respect for going hard or going home!); @who765, who finally gets the recognition he deserves for being a consistent point-getting performer in this contest, and showed that he can compete with the best of them here; and @bearpup, who came out of the gates late and slowly (by his own admission), but had big surges throughout the month to keep himself in contention, and a fixture amongst the monthly leaders. Solid months were also had by @cjs-sportscards, @OriolesFan, and @dragonslayer913, who had a very respectable debut month in the contest. Despite having off-months, defending champ @rjabreu88 and @steelers6 still managed to finish in the top-10.
