Every Year, the Kings do a Charity Event called Tip-A-King. There are many ways they raise money for this event....and its a great fan experience!Events1. General Admission2. "Tip" for an auto and/or photo with a player3. "Tip" for an experience along with an auto and/or photo with player4. Auctions - WOW - They had EVERYTHING!!! From vacations to Jerseys (some team jerseys like Capitals, All-Star Games, Avs) to Very Limited Paintings of hockey players to Hall of Fame items and the list goes on....5. Mystery Pucks - Buy a puck (all are signed) - if yours is gold, you win that players signed game used stick6. Mystery Envelopes - Could have anything from vacations to signed memorabilia to future experiences like skating with a King for 30 minutes at their practice facility7. Raffle Wheel - win smaller prizes like auto 8x10 player cards, stickers, keychains, Starbucks GC, and the top prize was 2 tickets to a future gameExperiences:1. Face off with Jared Stoll - He does a 2 sec run down on how he does face-offs and then the fan does a couple face offs with him2. Take a shot on Jonathan Quick - One of the best experiences for kids - they loved it!!!3. Dress up as a Goalie with Erik Ersberg 4. Play bubble-boy Hockey with Alec Martinez and Brad Richardson5. Sit in the Penalty Box with Jack Johnson and Raitis Ivanans6. Take a Group Photo with the Ice Girls7. Sit in the Zamboni with Davis Drewiske and Scott Parse8. Tour the Lockerroom with Alexander Frolov, Sean O'Donnel & Michael Handzus9. Broadcast with Bob Miller, Jim Fox, Nick Nickson and Darryl Evans10. All I can say is.....If your local team has an event where you can interact with the players...GO TO IT! Even if it cost a few bucks, the experience is welll worth it....ENJOY!!!!!
