That's really awesome of Mayer to take the time to right you back...Shows he really cares and appreciates that fact that he is still remembered!

Catching up on your thread. Great successes! I really like your old school Cubbies successes. I bet they look great all together since you've been consistent in using the same custom design. Great work!

It's been a lot of fun. I wasn't going to make this a big set, but it really grabbed me. Just printed out 8 more to go out soon!

One success in yesterday:
Irv Noren: Only played one year in Chicago, but now a part of the set! It took 14 days, but he returned 3/4 customs signed (kept 1 as offered) and thanked me for sending on the LOR. I enclosed $20 for a donation.

Broke a chilly streak today with a return I thought was LONG gone...
Oscar Gamble: Returned 2/3 customs (kept 1 as offered). Sent out on October 28, 2010 (that's 195 days for those of you counting at home). I needed some mojo!

Yea, I went against the odds on him, went all in, rolled the dice, and hit the jackpot! This stuff writes itself!
No, seriously!
I took a shot at him, I knew he had recently done some private signings and was wondering if that was how I was going to have to get him. I've had a couple of shots come back this year, pretty cool when they do.
