I would just google "graded card pages" or search for them on ebay. Ultra Pro and maybe BCW make them.
I say as long as the card fits you can put anything in the pages that you want. I just don't recommend moving them around very much as it will lead to damage on the corners and edges. I have a touch of OCD, as I'm sure you could tell from the map, so I found that I wanted to move everything around when I got a new card in the mail.

I am thinking about a display showcase....or what you suggested with the graded card pages i like that a lot....have you ever seen these? I dont have any actually graded cards, so do you think that the slots on pages would be too big for the toploaders and such?

I have no in hand experience with them. I would imagine that there would be some sliding. There are definitely other options as far as pages go, I just know that those are meant to hold the most weight, so patches would not be a problem. Check out Ultra Pro's and BCW's website. I bet you can find several options for pages that would hold patches in cases or top loaders.

You can buy clear little card stands on ebay for really cheap that are big enough to hold graded cards. Ill post a pic of my tiny set up so you can see what they look like, I dont know if it is what you are going after but might as well show you :)

I'm a big proponent of the display case option for the best of your cards. Here's one of the shelves in mine.

Get a good case, some display risers, and the little card stands, and you can make a really nice show-off section. :)
Anything that's not in the case is in a big 3200ct. box, all sorted by year & set. If I want to look at some Carey Price RCs, I know exactly where to go.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I put all my base sets in a binder, leaving any gaps for missing cards. Any parallels I keep in a box, and my jersey/autos I put in top loaders. I'm thinking that the little stands that Mool212 and RGM81 have could be an option for me! Now I just need the screw top or magnet hard cases to put on the stands, and place to display them!
I was having a hard time deciding what to do with the UD Champs tobacco sized cards, but I finally decided on the Ultra Pro T206 15-card pages. There is a lot of extra room on top of the cards, but this allows me to view all the base Champs at a glance.
