Jasonf23312's Alonzo Mourning collection in his own words...
It was back in 1992 when Shaq was reign. All my friends were such huge Shaq fans and the cards shops banked out with his cards. I got so jelous. Because, to me, Shaq was so big, he could do whatever he wanted. I absolutely loved ZO's presence under the basket. He worked so much harder than Shaq and still was just as competitive. I began collecting ZO ever since 1992 because of how much of a great huslter, heart, tenaciousness, strength, and hard working player he was. I absolutely love defense and he was the man under the basket blocking everyones shots. My all time role model. I got a nice start on my collection when I worked at a card shop in my hometown in high school. I had to quit collecting when I was in college but picked up again in 2006 once I got a steady job and have been collecting strong ever since. I try to collect what is NOT in Beckett. I like to find what is out there that no one has ever seen before. I really like errors and foriegn oddballs.

one question, how come your #9 "Jersey Number" is not "33"? It has the same GU window as your #10...

There are 2 versions "Jersey Number" and "Career High Point Total." Each card has a "STAT" patch version. The Jersey Number is /15 and the other out of 10. The "STAT" that Alonzo had accomplished was 50 points in a game which is his GU window number 50.

I have not. I might of tried at one time. I've actually tried to get into contact and trade with as many ZO collectors as possible and I've found that most of them either won't contact me back or do not have anything to offer.
