Met a local racer today...
Lauren and I went down to Dayton tonight for daddy/daughter time and saw a race car at a Sonic in Kettering, OH. Naturally, we stopped by and took a look. We found out it was a local racer making a public appearance...cool.
Her name is Sloan Henderson...17 y.o. junior from Franklin, OH. She won ROY honors in the Whelen Series in the state of OH last year. Very likable person, I could say she's better looking than Danica...
We got two hero cards signed of her and a pic of the three of us. Here is the pic:

That is my daughter Lauren...will be 3 on 9/17. I couldn't ask for anything more in a daughter.

JK, always cool to meet lower level drivers before they become big. I still remember when I met Trevor Bayne when he was like 13, lol.

If that was true, I've been picked up already after Danica this year...five times I went to one of her appearances in six years of Indy racing.
