Derek Whitmore Re-Signs with the Buffalo Sabres
This will be reported some time tomorrow. I am close friends with Derek and he told me this morning that he has re-signed and that it will most likely be announced tomorrow. I don't have many exact details, but I know that it is a one year deal and I assume that it is a two-way deal as well.

Good to see him sign with us again. He seems like a solid guy. Just curious, it says hes from Rochester, how do you know each other?

We did a hockey camp together that is a few minutes from my house and he was a coach and I was an off ice coach. I picked him up at the airport, along with another college player. They came in the afternoon before the camp so they stayed at my place and we just kind of hung out for a while.
