Question New question for you ebay sellers.. need some advice

    Hey,

    I have a question...

I am selling a Roy Williams Patch on ebay which is ending tonight and there is a bidder who keeps outbidding everyone who bids on it (which is good) but I am a bit skeptical since this bidder has zero feedback. I did a buyer search on him and he has also bid on about a dozen more high-end Detroit Lions cards from other sellers. I dont know if he is legit though ya know? What do you guys think? Would you cancel his bids? Would you give him the chance to pay andthen just relist if it doesnt work out? Thanks in advance.

If this was my card, I'd cancel his bids and put him on my blocked list... I know everyone has to start at zero feedback but there is something fishy about zero feedback bidders who always bid on $100.00+ items... but than again, I've had a few zero feedback bidders winning some high-priced auctions and paid right-away so... who knows?!

Yeah, I'm torn. On one hand I want to avoid the hassle of waiting around forever on a non-paying bidder, but on the other hand I dont want to screw myself because the card is already at a much higher price than I expected. Hopefully he will get sniped at the last minute.

I guess I shouldn't be so prejudiced against new members. If I think back, I have only had a problem once. But the strange thing is that this bidder has been an ebay member since April 2004, and now all of a sudden decides to make $300 in bids.

I think I will let it play out though. See what happens. Worst case scernario I get my listing fees back in a few weeks and relist.
