NHL Power Rankings: Top Captains for Every Team
The NHL is composed of 30 teams. Each team may designate one player as the captain, who has the "sole privilege of discussing with the referee any questions relating to interpretation of the rules which may arise during the progress of the game."
Captains are required to wear the letter "C" on their uniform to distinguish them as team captain.

Thanks for sharing Don! :)
But Luongo is near last place because....hes a goalie? Yes, goalies are never known to be captains, but Luongo is a true leader off the ice, and on the ice. Hes the first person to step on the ice for practice, and the last guy off. He is a mentor for the younger guys. If I were to place Luongo in the standings, I would place him maybe like 11th ot 12th? IMO don't think Ovie deseves to get a higher ranking than Luongo. What i think is, that Ovie isn't as much of a leader that Luongo is. Ovie can talk with officials, score goals etc. But IMO he is not as true of a leader that Luongo is. I definitely agree with Iggy, and Richards being ranked high. They are the definitions of leaders. They will do whatever it takes to stand up for other guys, plus they are nice guys off the ice (especially Iginla).
Just my opinon

Lidstrom at first, just like Yzerman would be in his day. Yay!
