do we really wanna do point per penalty minutes? there's 10-15 goons that are gonna outscore crosby, ovechkin, etc.

I agree. PIM shouldn't count in hockey pools. Only in fantasy hockey should PIM count.

PIM overkill
I have to agree, 1 point per PIM is excessive.
Taking the top 12 forwards from last season in PIMs, the average point total is just over 207 points (calculating PIMs, points, and +/-) per goon. Even Crosby would lose to this using all of those calculations.
I have been in a pool where PIMs count, but only for one assigned enforcer player of all your picks at 0.25 per PIM.
I may hold my picks until Wed., Oct. 6th until I hear any adjustments to this scoring issue.
