    Bossy Fight Strap ?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/2010-11-Mike-Bos...item3a60c3b4f0

Why would there be a fight strap of a three-time Lady Byng winner ?
Think he averaged about 10 PIM's per year. Maybe its an ITG attempt at sarcasm ?

Don't all jerseys have them? It's just a unique piece of the jersey, and it's also very limited #/3.

I thought it was created so that a players jersey could not be pulled up over there head during a fight, or due to certain fighters, that would shed their jersey to allow free movement during a fight?

anyone remember when they became mandatory?

I swore it was over someone taking the jersey off to fight?

    Yep.

Go to you tube, and search for "Ray, Rob".

He used to tie all his equipment to his jersey, so when you tried to pull it over his head, everything came off with it. Much harder to fight a guy who isn't wearing any equipment, becuase you can't grab onto anything.

Somewhere along the way, they made it mandatory for everyone to tie down their sweaters.
