Get Up Close & Personal With the Canadiens
This should be really cool to watch. I've enjoyed the Oil Change series focusing on the Oilers, but this is absolutely fantastic stuff for any Habs fan!

Canadiens star defenceman Andrei Markov became a Canadian citizen this year, but he would never consider playing for Team Canada. The Habs' red-hot netminder Carey Price likes to unwind at the bowling alley. And winger Mathieu Darche likes nothing better than spending quality time at his suburban home with his wife and two young boys.
Those are just a few of the things you'll discover in Your Canadiens, a new TV series that will premiere Saturday on a number of Bell platforms, including Bell TV, its direct-to-home satellite service. You can also see the series starting Saturday on your smart-phone if you're a Bell Mobility subscriber.
The 14-part series exploring the personal lives of 14 Habs players will then play on TV early in the new year, on V and RDS in French (titled Nos Canadiens) and in English on TSN2. The series is produced by Montreal production company Trio Orange.
The first episode Saturday profiles Markov, with Withenshaw lunching with the Russian veteran at the upscale Italian resto Da Vinci. The meeting took place just a few days before Markov was set to return to the ice with the Canadiens in late October after months of rehabilitation following his knee injury in the playoffs last spring. Markov talks of how tough it's been since the injury, saying: "It's not easy. You have to push yourself every day."
The episode ends on a down note with Markov re-injuring the same knee when he got tangled up with Eric Staal during a game against the Carolina Hurricanes at the Bell Centre Nov. 13.
Other players profiled in the series include Darche, Price, Mike
Cammalleri and Brian Gionta. The idea is to explore the off-ice lives of the hockey stars, to provide a glimpse of what these Habs are like in their everyday life.
"My role isn't to get gossip and it's not really to be a sports journalist," Withenshaw said. "When I watch sports TV, I like the pre-game and post-game shows. I want to know what's going on in the players' heads."
Almost ... almost makes me wish I had a Bell phone. LOL
Can't wait to see this!
