Worst box you ever opened.

I bought a box of 06-07 Hot Prospects and got 1 jersey card. In addition to two jersey cards, you were supposed to get 1 patch out of the three thick packs in the box. There were two thick packs with decoys and one pack that was wrapped like a thick pack but had a single common in it. I called UD from the store and offered to put the owner on and the UD rep told me it is just an average. I explained the virtually empty fat pack and the rep laughed. To this day, whenever I get shorted a hit, a friend of mine and I joke that it was a major hit and someone from UD saw it coming down the line and decided to pocket it. I laugh so I don't cry.

Thanks lol, I was mad because I used what was left of my birthday money. I think I got a box of Artifacts to go with it and got trashed there too... it wasn't the best night lol

I once opened a box of bananas at the store and there were bugs in it. I'd have to say that qualifies as my worst yet.

Got you beat on that one. I used to work in a grocery store's produce department - one time I opened a box of bananas and there was this ridiculously huge (dead) spider in it. The thing had legs like you wouldn't believe.

As for hockey cards, I think that this could be the most common answer: that one time I broke an Artifacts blaster box.

worst box I ever had was a blaster box of 08/09 champs after doing good with a few others with mini threads, rookies and even a couple autos I ripped a box that had no rookies and some of the packs had 1990/91 upper deck cards stuffed in them . the box did have the upper deck wrap on it, I remember I was so ™™™™™™ off that I actually returned the blaster to wallmart and they refunded my money. last champs blaster I ever bought, other than that I bought a hobby box of fleer 08/09, no redemption, no gold rookies only a couple no name jersey gu.

Yeah... Atifacts blaster boxes = Upper Deck giving you a shot at the cattle prod. I think most of everyone would agree that the artifacts blasters are the worst box anyone's ever opened. That and Hot Prospects blasters.

Generally speaking (re: Hot Prospects) that's true.. although I did pull a Toews jsy/au awhile back - that was sweet!
