Shakespeare is known as the greatest writer in history. Whether or not he actually existed is a debate I'll leave up to the scholars, but in his time, the early 1930s, he made some pretty bold statements. One of them was that names don't really matter. When he wrote (allegedly), What's in a name, That which we call a rose/by any other name would smell as sweet, he must have been high on ink because everybody knows that is a lie.

Names are important because it gives us an idea of what something is before we have a chance to actually assess it on its merits. Like the saying goes, Don't judge a book by its cover. Right. Don't judge it by its cover, judge it by the title. The Catcher in the Rye? Maybe it's about baseball! Or bread. Or both! War and Peace? I'll just read the first half.
