This is why you don't let the fans choose the entire lineup for the All-Star Game. Evgeni Malkin has finally showed up to play this season and his two-week highlight show was enough to push him past Hart Trophy candidate Steven Stamkos, the NHL's second-leading scorer. Come on, folks, seriously! Let's give Mr. Stamkos some love!!! I'm also perturbed that another Hart Trophy candidate, Detroit's wunderkind center, Pavel Datsyuk, is 12th in voting among forwards. I thought Detroit was Hockeytown, USA? Get voting Red Wings fans!
