Panini Limited 10/11. Missing card in Box

For what it's worth, the description on Blowout says 7 cards in a pack and the link to the sell sheet indicates 7 cards in a pack:

That totals 7 cards

According to my LCS owner, Panini rushed the production and on the actual cases (I saw it as well) they printed 7 cards per pack/box. However, they forgot to change the number on the actual boxes from where it says 8 cards. That should have also said 7 which was their intention.

I have had anywhere from 7-9. But you only get shorted a base card so not really a big deal.

I believe that panini may weigh the packs, and since the base weigh less, it can throw off their scale. Could be right, just an idea.

thats bad though that they forgot to change the box, it says 8 on the box and thats what id see in a store, so im getting my cards lol...4 out of my 5 boxes had 7 cards so i sent the tops back with my ticket # and a letter, hopefully for the trouble theyll send me 1 nice card, well se

Its not suposed to be 'on average' on the entire product ?
Nothing is guaranteed IMO (If its like UD, never seen a pack of Panini so I could be wrong)

They did have a gurantee list, i saw it on Dacardworld. I received 7 cards too, shorted an auto. :( I filed in the complaint and sent my empty box with wrappers, receipt and what not, hopefully they get back to me soon...

I actually called a customer support rep. She told me that it was a mistake on their part, that the box should have said (7 cards). I opened two boxes... one had eight cards the other 7. Never received an auto in the 7 card pack even though all major distributors claim that you should receive at least one auto per box (dacardworld, mirajtrading, etc..) . Took my chances anyway and sent in the proper documentation although from what the customer service rep said... I shouldn't keep my hopes up. :(
