Upper deck Redemptions Question
Hi all, I have never had to a Redemption from upper deck before. This is until last year when I had sent in a Redemption for a Trilogy Clearcut combos. After waiting about 5 months with no action on this card I requested a replacement for this card. They gave me the story that a replacement would be sent out within 6 weeks. 23 weeks later after periodically checking on upperdecks web site I noticed my redemption was marked as complete and said ship on December 21. Do they usually give a tracking # or anything. It has been 3 weeks since the 21st.
Thanks

The 3 weeks in between is not unheard of, especially since you live in Canada. There is no way to really track the cards unless they are coming fedex or UPS. Your postal service is unfortunately one of the worst in the world, so give it a couple more weeks, it will probably reach you eventually. Good luck!

im going to have to disagree with that...maybe the quebec postal workers are the worst in the world, but i've never EVER had an issue with our postal service...maybe their rates are a bit high, but for me, in terms of mail delivery, they've been great.
if anything, id say the card is held up at customs...but who knows, hopefully you get it soon!

I agree. I have shipped out probably close 100 things in the last month and all the issues I have come from the country of Quebec

Maybe it's because I ship from the states, but universally I have had far more issues with Canada Post. The postal employees in the states I've talked to have said Canada routinely has more issues than most other postal units. Again, maybe it's something about going through customs that messes everything up, but there is a reason why some U.S. sellers won't sell to Canada....too many problems...
I for one would never not sell to Canada, there are too many good buyers up there, and most of the time the process goes just fine.

High rates, no weekend delivery, carriers that leave poster tubes containing, er, posters sitting outside during a torrential downpour, and high rates (yeah, it deserves to be there twice) leaves me to say that while it's far from the worst in the world, it's not all that great.
Don't get me wrong, there's some great people out on the front lines but there's always room for improvement. Even Saturday delivery would be awesome.

Quebec is not a country but a province of the Country of Canada.

i agree with everything you said, in fact they're things that i routinely complain about...ive had many discussions with postal outlet workers about the rates (discussions? who am i kidding, i was ranting and raving to them about their thievery) and i would LOVE (and feel we deserve) at least saturday delivery as well...and ive also had "do not bend" items bent or shoved in my mailbox - no postal service in the world can claim to be perfect.
but i believe the post i was responding to was talking about lost mail, which like i said, ive never had a problem with and feel that we're not close to being the worst in the world (province of quebec aside).
