Redemption Replacement... Unsure how to feel
Hey all!
Yesterday I posted asking if anyone had received redemption replacements for the 2009 Main Event Marks Poker Autographs. Ironically, UPS showed up at the door this morning. Now, here is what I had outstandings.
2009 Main Event Marks Poker Autograph CLUB Chris Ferguson
2009 Main Event Marks Poker Autograph DIAMOND Phil Ivey xx/50
I expected something special for the Ivey, seeing he is one of the best in the game. Ivey signatures are hard to come by and with this one being numbered to xx/50, I expected a nice auto in return. Now from what I hear the book value of these cards are higher than the two autos but unless I'm missing something I am a bit disappointed on what I got in return.
Here's what was inside.
Not scanned: One Pack of 2009 Stealth - which contained four base and a Harvick Confidential insert.

I think you got hosed. Especially if you were planning on selling the Ferguson/Ivey. Those three combined wouldn't fetch what an Ivey auto would.

I think I would feel kind of cheated. That just doesn't feel like a fair exchange to me at all. It's just too bad that there's just not much that can be done about it. I havn't had very much experiance with presspass but you could try to contact them and let them know that you feel like you didn't get fair value for the cards that were being replaced. You never know until you try they may send you something to try and make it a little more fair. Anyhow good luck and sorry to hear about the bad replacements........*Ryan*

I emailed them late in the day and assume they will get back to me on Tuesday. I've dealt with their CS in the past and have nothing but great praise for them - hopefully this will be no exception.
