thats a tough one, id go with tavares, hes adapted really well to the nhl and is a good all round player, taylor hall definatley has the skills but is just a goal scorer, tavares has 29 assists and is a good goal scorer and set up man, hall only has 18 and hes got a lot to learn about the big leagues even though he is a 1st overall pick... anyways u pick which one u want im just giving my opinion.

Well, only the Tavares is a true RC. However, the Hall still sells strongly and IMO the future for the Oilers is much brighter than it is on Long Island for Tavares.

I am leaning towards Tavares as well. Love his ability to make others better. With that said card collectors LOVE goal scorers. Right now you can get a Tavares for $400 but I can get a hall for $575. What was the Tavares going for last year after it was released?

    Good point RGM.

Hall has a better supporting case around him, so he is more likely to go Stamkos (new term for blowing up without much warning... Going Stamkos) sooner than Tavares, however Tavares is showing signs of going Stamkos now.

they started off in the $700 range and then leveled off in the high $400's low $500's...i honestly feel tavares will just get better...as will hall too, but i would go with tavares..
