    Surprise from Upper Deck!

    My mom calls me this morning from her place out of town, and says she has a package from Sea Otter Place. I've had my address switched for months, and had actually received a redemption from Upper Deck at my current address this morning.

    I was curious, so I had her open it, and surprise, its an Evander Kane 09-10 SOTT Auto!

    I was sort of puzzled, as I had never pulled a redemption for this card, so she reads me the letter, and it basically says "Sorry for your redemption being out of date, here is this instead" The only redemption that I've pulled that was out of date was a 07-08 Hurricanes Artifacts rookie redemption for a no-namer, so it must have went through their system and I got this card as a sorry gift. I'll take it!

    Has anyone else had this happen recently? Definately a nice surprise.
