    What basketball to get auto'd?

I want to get a basketball signed by the entire Kings basketball team. Does it matter what type of basketball I get signed and which pen/sharpie I use? I have a Krylon silver paint pen that I use right now, would that work.

Paint pens are hard to use. I would look for an official NBA basketball.

if your doing a multi-signed item all at once. u dont wanna go paint pen, your gonna have smears all over it from the paint not drying quick enough and multiple people touching it. i would go black sharpie, silver sharpie fades quick on basketballs.

    1. Official NBA Basketballs are like $90 so forget that
    2. Silver Sharpies are less reliable than paint pens. Get a paint pen.
    3. Black Sharpie is not going to show up on many balls. There is one ball at Wal-Mart that is light enough, but that is the only one I have seen besides an official game ball that is light enough.
    4. DO NOT get an outdoor ball. Get any indoor/outdoor ball. The rubber covers on outdoor balls look awful signed.
    5. I like Spalding balls because they have the NBA logo on them.
    6. If you are doing a team item a ball usually isn't the best thing to do because there will be a lot of signatures you can't see when the ball is displayed. I would get a large floorboard or logo, but to each his own.

What about those silver balls meant for autographs that they sell at the team store or the ones with the white panels. I'm not sure if they have those for BB but I know they do have em for football.

maybe get a white panel ball like the person said but make sure to use black sharpie on the white panel if you do because blue fades on them
