    Does anyone understand home stereo equipment?

    I need some help hooking up my record player to some speakers and am not sure what I need.

    You don't provide any details of what you do have, but hopefully you do have a receiver. Usually the turntable connects to the back of receiver and the speakers connect to the back of the receiver. This might also help:

    PM Me, I dj, most likely you'll need just a pair of l\r audio cables running to your stereos inputs much like a dvd player without the yellow cord, if not alot of turntables also can be ran in to a computer by taking the l\r audio cable and either a getting an l\r audio to headphone cable or getting an adapter, it's fairly easy, let me know how old and what kind of tt and that would definitely help

    you may have to run it through a cheap mixer so you can control the sound also lmk what it is and I can help
